VILLA ZAGARA
Lake Hartwell wellness Rental
Near Clemson, SC
Deep water. Protected shores. Protected time.
Step into a lakefront wellness retreat where the only sound is the one you choose to make. Villa Zagara sits on a private cove in Lake Hartwell, surrounded by protected reserves on all sides—Coneross, Friendship Shores, Oconee Point, Cemetery Island. No development. No noise. No interruption.
Step off your deck into deep water. Villa Zagara's private cove opens immediately to Lake Hartwell. Kayak into the protected reserves surrounding you. Swim in clear depth. Stand at the water's edge and watch the herons fish. Or simply float and let the quiet reset you. Your waterfront isn't a view from the porch. It's a daily ritual.

Deer graze the shoreline at dawn. Herons fish the cove in the afternoon. They're not a spectacle—they're just your neighbors here. The protected reserves surrounding Villa Zagara mean the wildlife moves through freely, unaccustomed to crowds or interruption. You're not visiting their habitat. You're living alongside it. Watch them from your window, your yard, the water. Or simply let them remind you that you're somewhere real.
Step out the door and straight into the rhythm of the lake. From our cove on Lake Hartwell, guests can launch our complimentary paddleboards and kayaks and glide into calm morning water before the lake wakes up. It’s the kind of moment that slows everything down — just you, the shoreline, and the Carolina sky stretching wide above the water.

Fishing on Lake Hartwell couldn’t be easier from here. You can fish right on our cove. If you are a serious angler, you are in an amazing place to fish.
We’re also just 15 minutes from Green Pond Landing and Event Center, a premier launch site for serious anglers. About 10 minutes from Portman Marina. Hosting groups for a Lake Hartwell bass tournament? Book early, weekends with major tournaments fill fast.
Villa Zagara holds three bedrooms and two baths—space for six comfortably, eight with the pull-out sofa. What it really holds is quiet. You wake to stillness. There's a Nespresso machine for serious coffee drinkers, a Blackstone grill and pizza oven for gathering around food, kayaks and paddleboards for moving through water, and Georgia and South Carolina state park passes for exploring beyond the property. But these aren't the point. They're the frame around it.
The point is this: you're surrounded by protected reserves. Herons fish from your backyard. Deer move through undisturbed. The only notifications here are the ones you choose to answer. Everything about this place is built to slow you down—to let you actually connect with the people you're with, and with the quiet itself.

A lakefront property built for slow mornings, long walks, and one very happy dog.
Villa Zagara was made for the kind of trip where your dog gets just as much out of the stay as you do. Wake up slowly, leash up, and walk the quiet shoreline before the lake stirs. The property features a fully fenced yard so that your friend can roam unleashed.
Spend the afternoon kayaking or hiking (your pass is in the side table in the living room), then come home to a clean, calm home where your dog already knows where the water bowl lives.

Discover the charm of our quiet and friendly Shenandoah neighborhood. Shenandoah sits quietly in the heart of protected lands on Lake Hartwell. There's no gate, no resort amenities, no noise. Just woodsy neighborhood streets, homes tucked into nature, and the kind of silence that makes you remember what it feels like to simply be. This is where you come when you want to disappear—not from the world, but into it.
