We never set out to become hosts — we simply wanted a space for my parents. A home where family from Italy could visit us here in Greenville and feel completely at ease: close to the grandchildren, able to cook meals together, rest deeply, and savor what makes this corner of the world so special. That first home was meant for them.
But in preparing it — obsessing over the coffee setup, the linens, the way light hit the windows in the afternoon — I discovered how much joy I found in creating spaces that felt like home. So when guests began arriving from all over the country (and the world), I realized: this wasn’t just a house. It was a welcome.
To us, hospitality is respect — for our guests, for our neighbors, and for the beautiful natural surroundings that make the Upstate so special. It’s making sure you don’t have to overpack, because we’ve thought of everything. It’s labeling things to make your morning coffee simple. It’s designing spaces that feel clean, calm, and a little bit beautiful.
Though I was born and raised in Italy, Greenville has been home for over 20 years — and it’s been my husband’s home since he was just two years old. Together, we bring a blend of cultures to every stay: the Italian love for food, art, and la dolce vita, paired with the warmth and generosity of Southern hospitality. What we offer is more than a place to stay — it’s a uniquely layered experience, where European charm meets South Carolina soul. It’s this thoughtful fusion that creates the magic our guests feel: care, comfort, connection — and a stay that truly lingers.
