Stefania is a DREAM host! We couldn't have imagined a better experience as we needed a rental for 6+ months after our house suffered damage from a local hurricane. Stefania welcomed us like family, going above and beyond in every way. Communication, kindness, flexibility, and constant check in to ensure things were going smoothly. The house is lovely, in a quiet area off downtown / North Main. It is easy to access everything but out of the busyness of downtown. Great kitchen and backyard space, and comfortable beds. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Our family stayed at the Essex house for 3 months while our home was being repaired from hurricane damage. We felt a warm, helpful, inviting welcome in all regards for the moment we made the reservation. It wasn't just a rental, it was a home away from home. Stefania was incredibly responsive and helpful to any need that arose. The home had every detail ready to go. Our kids even enjoyed it so much they were sad to leave! It’s a quiet and safe neighborhood, and our past guests have enjoyed staying at The Warren with young children praising the quiet, calm, and yet easy access to downtown, the Swamp Rabbit Trail, parks, and local coffee shops. It is also located in a prime school district. Nearby schools include Stone Academy, Summit Drive Elementary, and League Academy.

Close enough that you can walk. Less than 7 miles to go from the house to Main Street.
Is there access to state parks?
Yes. A complimentary South Carolina State Park pass is included. Guests are just minutes from Paris Mountain State Park, local parks, scenic trails, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Laurel Hare is also within about 40 minutes to an hour from Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Pisgah National Forest, making it an ideal home base for hikers, mountain bikers, and anyone who loves being outdoors. Guests also have access to mountain bikes and a state park pass for even more adventure.

Laurel Hare is located within Greenville city limits, where local regulations require a minimum stay of 30 nights for short-term rentals. This policy applies to all similar properties in the area and helps create a quieter, more residential experience for guests.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Laurel Hare requires a $2,000 refundable security deposit for all stays. The deposit is fully refunded after checkout as long as there is no damage to the property, missing items, excessive cleaning needs, smoking, or violations of house rules.
