Is Portman Cove Pet-Friendly?
Yes, genuinely. Portman Cove welcomes well-behaved dogs as part of the family, with the same care and standards as our other Blue Ridge Upstate Gateways homes.
A few things to know before you bring your pup:
No fenced yard. Dogs should be leashed when outdoors. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable, with leash-friendly routes along the cove and short walks to Portman Marina.
Plenty of nearby outdoor space. Sadlers Creek State Park and Lake Hartwell State Park are minutes away, and your complimentary South Carolina and Georgia state park passes cover entry.
What we provide. Pet bowls, a soft pet bed, blankets, towels for muddy paws, leash, waste bags, and a welcome basket on arrival.
A $75 flat pet fee per stay (regardless of length of stay) applies and will be confirmed during checkout.
Up to 2 dogs per stay. Please mention them at booking so we can prep accordingly.
Traveling with your dog isn't an afterthought here. It's part of the welcome.
